 FEBRUARY 21 Today as usual reached school by 9.00am and went to our staff room. From today onwards the school  time is till evening. It seems to be more hectic to handle since we need to handle all the 7 hours.I got to  take class for all the hours today. First hour I took class for 8J and then I went to class 8I and I gave the  information of  a test paper for chemistry chapter. Then i got to handle classes of 10 D and 10H.They   were very hard to handle at first but later they became very friendly and moved very smoothly. Afternoon  I was insisted to handle 8G and 6D.Then we left school by 3.30pm.  FEBRUARY 14 Today was a happy day since I got an oppourtunity to see my students after a break of 2 weeks. Today I  got free periods to handle class 8.We interacted and got to know my students lesiure works. I came to  know that some of the students had You Tube channel, their works,their craft works , etc. Since  tomorrow we have election , I left school by afternoon. FEBRUARY 15 Since we had to go for election purposes for college , we were given official leave. So today I didnt go  to school. FEBRUARY 16 Because of Attukal pongala, it was an official leave for Trivandrum. FEBRUARY 17 As usual I reached school by 9.00am .Today I got Substitution hour for class 8g.The students were  not in a good mood to learn so I got an idea for discussing a topic named Plastic pollution using  brainstorming method. I divided the class into 2 groups and classified them into A and B group.  Then I gave a topic for them to discuss by providing sufficient time . ...

 From 7th to 12th,we continued with the online classes in this week at home. I used to take chemistry online  classes for 8G,8J and 8k and physics class for 8J in the morning time.Then afternoon session is given to 9B and 9D for chemistry class. I got the oppourtunity to carry out peer observation for Pooja and Sreelekshmi in the online platform on 7th February. They send their googlemeet class link for the observation. Their classes were effective and responsive. Both of them had a good interaction with students. On 11th,Viji mam was admitted to the online class for the second round of observation. From the comments of mam, I could feel a lot of improvement in reference to the first round of observation. I handled the chapter static electricity and the students were really responsive and attentive. They answered all my questions. The classes were moving on throughout the week.

On 31st, we were insisted to take a one week leave due to the increasing covid 19 pandemic. On 1st february to 5th february,I got the first oppourtunity to take online class from home for the  respective 8 and 9 students. I used to take classes for 8th in the morning and 9th in the afternoon. Almost i used to get three classes in a day. It was easier to finish portions on time through online class but students who are admitted to the class are very less due to the inavailability of resources, that reason was a little bit disappointing as the full content taught in the class are not delivered to all the students. The class seemed to be more effective with teaching resources like videos, images ,etc.Students hence get a better understanding of processes, reactions,etc.
