REFLECTION OF EIGHTH WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE.

 FEBRUARY 21

Today as usual reached school by 9.00am and went to our staff room. From today onwards the school 

time is till evening. It seems to be more hectic to handle since we need to handle all the 7 hours.I got to 

take class for all the hours today. First hour I took class for 8J and then I went to class 8I and I gave the

 information of  a test paper for chemistry chapter. Then i got to handle classes of 10 D and 10H.They 

 were very hard to handle at first but later they became very friendly and moved very smoothly.

Afternoon  I was insisted to handle 8G and 6D.Then we left school by 3.30pm. By the suggestion of our

 teacher , I was assigned to take  online class for 8th Standard students as a part of NMS scholarship

 class. 




FEBRUARY 22

As usual I reached school by 9.00am went to our staff room.

 I got to take class for 8J and 8K students where I gave them notes for the chapters that I have

 taken and in the free time we played games like hollywood, 7up etc.

Afternoon session I got to supervise 10B students. They were a good set of students who listened to

 my revision class and I stuffed them with many application level questions of periodic table.

We left school by 3.30pm.


FEBRUARY 23

 Today was the day  I chose for  achievement test for class 8I.I read out the questions and the students 

answered it in the paper, almost 15 students attended the test and for encouragement I promised them 

to give a much for the students who score 20 above out of 25 in the test. They completed the test in the

 stipulated time.





Then I got time to correct their answers and I gave the papers along with my reward today itself.

The students were very excited to get their papers.


Then i got an oppourtunity to supevise the class of my peer Pooja during her achievement test.

Afternoon I supervised 10F,  some students requested me to give the permission to study while 

some of them simply chatted with me. We then left school by 3.30pm


FEBRUARY 24

Today as usual reached home by 9.00am. Today there were no classes for 8th std students. I took

 chemistry  classes for 9B and 9D and revised acid , base and salt. They  wrote down notes and I gave 

some objective based questions for them to practice.There were no other classes today.


FEBRUARY 25

As usual reached school by 9.00am .Today I did not get any classes to teach only substitution hours

 for class 10H.I gave them time to do their work. Then we went to canteen to supply lunch for students.

Afternoon time was free for us. We left for home by 3.30pm.


FERBRUARY 26

Today was "PASSING OUT PARADE " of the SPC students of the school . We were invited for the

 program .






Today there were no regular classes for class 8 and 9.So we were given UP sections to handle.

We played games and had a great experience with the kids.

  REFLECTION School Experience On July 4th, 2022, the second round of teaching practice started. I was given SNVGHS Paravoor as my school. We were eight in number, four from physical science and  others from Malayalam. My mentor teacher was Smitha ma'am who assigned me to teach in 8F,8G and 9C,9E to teach chemistry.  The weekly assembly is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the language shift was what drew me in the most. Every day, a different language is used in the school choir's prayer song, including English, Malayalam, Hindi, Sanskrit, etc.  Since I was unaware of the teachers during the first week, I was hesitant to talk to them or ask them anything because they didn't even try to smile at us. However, after three days, I felt more at ease around them because I could sense a positive shift in their attitude. FIRST WEEK SCHOOL EXPERIENCE OF TEACHING PRACTICE

  SCHOOL EXPERIENCE (JANUARY 4 - 7, 2022) January 4 to 7 marks the beginning week of teaching practice. I was appointed to GMHSS Varkala  School.When reflecting of this weeks experience, there have been so many challenges and so much  that I have learned. The Teachers assigned to me was really helpful and friendly. On January 4th , I  introduced myself to my first class  and I got a chance to interact with my student of 8B were I was  assigned to teach Physics.I was really excited to stand before students as a teacher and I liked the way  they listened to me, eventhough it was my first class. From January 5th onwards I started to take classes for students of 9B which seemed to be a very smooth  class where students seems to be very smart and active. SIXTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE (8/08/2022 - 13/08/2022)

 MIRRORING  Teaching experience is the culmination of skills, exposure or training acquired over time that enables me to perform an existing job better or prepare me for a teaching position. Teaching experience is important to the development of a unique teaching style, teaching skills and self-confidence. School Experience As Usual we used to reach college by 9.00am and move to sign the register. We had assembly on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. August 9th was leave for us as a part of "Bakreeth". This week had been a tough week. I had a lot of portions to be covered, hence I was running for free periods to complete it. On Friday , last hour we have decided to conduct a Poster on ROAD SAFETY for 8th standard students. Almost all the students from class 8th have done it.
